The Cane Creek Double Barrel Air - The shock everyone dreamed of, the infinite and independent adjustability of the Double Barrel coil shock, but reworked to save weight. The air-spring is tuned to match the DB damping capability and create a similar feel throughout its stroke. The Öhlins’ Twin Tube technology remains, pumping oil in a continuous circuit to control rebound and compression movements. Circulating oil through the system instead of the main piston allows independent adjustment not possible on other shocks. What does all this mean? You can set the shock up for exactly how you ride, and still create an efficient platform for pedalling. No need for expensive custom tunes, the external adjustments bring every setup to your fingertips regardless of terrain or conditions. Still with reliability at its core, this is the hardest riding, most adjustable air shock currently on the market. Coil or air? Take your pick.
Available Adjustments:

High-speed compression

High-speed rebound
NOTE! Please do not select the Cane Creek Double Barrel Air shock if you have chosen a 14" frame size. There is not enough clearance in the frame to fit this shock. FOX Float CTD Evolution to Factory is the available shock option for this size.
The Cane Creek Double Barrel is one of those few components that causes a genuine stir in the mountain bike world. It’s quietly come onto the scene and blown everything else out of the water. No crazy graphics or showy dials, it quietly gets on with annihilating the trail and every other shock you’ve ever ridden.
The key to the success of the Double Barrel shock is Öhlins’ Twin Tube technology. This system pumps oil through a continuous circuit allowing full control of both rebound and compression movements. Circulating the oil through the valving instead of the main piston allows independent remote adjustment not possible on other shocks. External adjustment eradicates the need for expensive custom tunes and allows easy setup according to track or weather conditions.
