Test Yourself at the Orange Mountain Bikes Tour de Ben Nevis
September 06 2012
It's only a few weeks until the 2012 Orange Mountain Bikes Tour de Ben Nevis!
Orange will be out in force as usual with the Five being one of the favourite weapons for this race. We'll also have the truck set up in town, so be sure to come and say hello to get the latest news and gossip from Halifax.
Orange will also be supplying Five frames to the lucky winners of The King and Queen of the Mountains. The most consistent solo senior male and female at the Benromach 10 under the Ben, the Hope Tech Endurance Downhill and the Orange Mountain Bikes Tour de Ben Nevis will be crowned King and Queen of the Mountains. Good luck to all competing!

The Tour de Ben Nevis is an epic all-day adventure, taking in some of the best descents, singletrack and open hillside in the North West Highlands. The fast boys will be getting back to Fort William in just over 4 hours, with mid-pack times being near 6 and 1/2 hours, so you need to come prepared for all eventualities. Entering this race is worth it for the West Highland way descent into Kinlochleven (bring inner tubes for this one!) and the Blue Crane descent in Leanachan Forest.
This is what it's all about. James Shirley and Chris Hutchens pose for the camera after galloping the 72km togeher.
Entries are filling up fast, with 300 riders already entered. Don't miss out on one of the best races in the UK, you really won't be disappointed. Full details can be found on the No Fuss Events website
