The guys from Wideopen made the trip up to Grenoside for Peaty's Steel City downhill race organised by the This is Sheffield crew. In the murk we delivered a loaner 4X bike for team rider Dave Thomason, not ideal for the slippery Yorkshire mulch, but a great tool for an impromptu dual race on Peaty's private track. Next up on the race calendar was the Halo BDS first round at Nant G. Jamie Edwards got the lowdown on MTBcut's Orange 322 prototype, with a few words from our "marketing" mogul Michael Bonney. This was Fraser McGlone's first outing on the new bike, taking a convincing win for the series lead.
